Diana Shipping New York-listed Greek bulker owner Diana Shipping has secured a new time charter for one of its panamax vessels at a higher rate than its current employment. The 2013-built, 77,901 dwt Ismene has been fixed to Paralos Shipping at $15,750 per day, less a 5% commission paid to third parties. The charter is expected to start on July 5 and run through to between May 15 and July 15, 2027. Diana said the employment would generate about $4.88m in gross revenue for the minimum charter period. Splash reported in April last year that the vessel had been fixed to China Resource Chartering at a $11,000 daily rate. The latest deal also sees the vessel return to Paralos , which previously took the Ismene in 2023 at $12,650 per day.
