MarineTraffic / Chris Houghton Norwegian offshore vessel owner DOF has secured an extension for one of its multipurpose supply vessels. The company stated that the current client of the MPSV Skandi Darwin exercised a one-year extension option for the vessel. The extension will see the vessel continue working for its current client in Australia until the third quarter of 2027. The client and financial details were left unnamed. However, the vessel has previously been hired by Shell to provide IMR services to its Prelude FLNG facility. The contract was for five years fixed, and Shell also had two two-year extension options. That deal started in late November 2017.
