Etihad Cargo has launched the Excellence Hub, the air cargo industry’s airline-led logistics training academy, designed to strengthen operational standards, safety and compliance across its global network. The platform offers accredited courses, AI-enabled learning, executive education and industry certifications for partners, customers, employees and students. Etihad says the initiative will support professional development while enhancing service quality and operational excellence across the global air cargo sector. Etihad Cargo, the cargo and logistics arm of Etihad Airways, announces the launch of the Excellence Hub, the air cargo industry’s logistics training academy by an airline. The Etihad Cargo Excellence Hub has been established to ensure consistent operational, safety, and compliance standards across Etihad Cargo’s global partner network. Through standardised knowledge deployment, the platform protects service quality at every touchpoint, strengthens risk management, and ensures operational alignment across Etihad Cargo’s global network, safeguarding the reliability and customer trust that define the carrier’s service standards. Serving Etihad Cargo representatives and stakeholders, partners, customers, and air cargo professionals worldwide, the platform provides training designed to strengthen engagement through targeted skills development. The curriculum also covers Etihad Cargo operating standards, product and service framework, safety and compliance modules aligned with international regulations, and industry-certified programmes developed in partnership with accredited institutions. Through a structured programme of foundation courses, podcasts, masterclasses, and executive education programmes such as a miniMBA, the Excellence Hub awards users with accredited certifications upon the successful completion of each learning path. To encourage voluntary engagement, the platform incorporates gamification features including a points-based leaderboard and LinkedIn badges that celebrate user progression. Complimentary access is extended to university students, allowing the next generation of talent to join a global community of air cargo professionals and academic partners. The Etihad Cargo Excellence Hub also supports continuous development through AI-enabled learning, which delivers personalised feedback and real-time analytics to track performance. Its mobile-first design further ensures that this support is accessible from any location, at any time, positioning the Excellence Hub as a truly global resource for professional development across the air cargo industry. “Today, we introduce you to the Etihad Cargo Excellence Hub. We have launched the Excellence Hub to ensure that we have one global standard for all our partners across our network, and we are growing it to cover not only our partners but also to share knowledge with our customers. The Excellence Hub covers three key pillars. One is learning more about Etihad Cargo products and services. The second is learning more about industry standards. The third is developing soft skills, such as negotiation and communication, that help boost business performance,” Lubna Al Laham, Senior Manager Customer Experience at Etihad Cargo, explained. “On the Excellence Hub, we’ve developed it more as a community. We have a range of courses, podcasts, and the opportunity to speak with different experts. People who join the Excellence Hub are also able to register for a Mini MBA programme, earn credits and badges, and access a reward shop to accelerate their learning experience.” Stanislas Brun, Chief Cargo Officer at Etihad Airways, commented, “As the first logistics training academy established by an airline, it represents a significant step forward in how we approach knowledge, capability, and service quality across our global network. By bringing together operational expertise, industry knowledge, and accredited learning pathways in one platform, the Excellence Hub will help raise capability standards across the global air cargo ecosystem.” Dr Nadia Al Bastaki, Chief People and Corporate Affairs Officer at Etihad Airways, added, “Etihad is committed to investing in people, and the Etihad Cargo Excellence Hub is a testament to this commitment. By providing accessible learning opportunities and a platform for knowledge sharing, Etihad Cargo aims to enhance the capabilities of those entering and advancing within the air cargo industry. The Excellence Hub will facilitate professional development and enhance operational excellence, customer service, and efficiency.”
