The company has named Michael Baumgardt EVP of intermodal and logistics; he joined Schneider in 2001 and has held roles in customer service, sales, network management and operations. Schneider has also hired Steve Wells as EVP of truckload. Wells most recently served as president of Cowan Systems LLC, a Schneider subsidiary. Both EVPs will report to Filter. On Baumbardt's team, Angela Prill has been promoted to senior VP of intermodal operations. Rail-Industrial Partners has added Christopher Hudson, Trevin Hogg and Mike Corr as strategic advisors to its team of rail investors, operators and advisors. Hudson, with more than 15 years of industry experience, has spent the past six years as a senior rail operations officer and rail fleet manager for the U.S. Department of Defense. In 2025, he founded his own advisory company, Precision Procurement & Logistics Solutions. Hogg has more than 20 years of rail and transportation industry experience. A U.S. Navy veteran, Hogg also worked at Union Pacific Railroad for 10 years across operations, infrastructure development, commercial negotiations and transload logistics roles. Corr brings four decades of rail experience across supply chain strategy, corporate development, commercial sales and operational efficiency. He spent the core of his career at CN before founding his own consulting firm, M Corr and Associates, in 2019, Rail-Industrial Partners officials said.
